I don't want to do it, I don't want to jump. But all of my friends are and it looks fun.
So I take
a big breath and run up to the edge of the wharf and squeak. Suddenly I stop
and I take a step back. Realising that I don’t really want to do it anymore.
NO! I do! So I don’t do it without thinking… Splash! Ahh! COLD! Freezing water
rushes through me, in my mouth and even up my nose. I burst up and out of the
water. I quickly swim to the ladder and climb back to the wharf.
